Born and raised in a small town in North Carolina, 22 year old Sydney Allen formally known as “Sydney Nicole” discovered her passion for fashion at a very young age. Before she was able to dress herself, her barbies were considered her mannequins. At the age of 16, Sydney began to express herself through her craft of wardrobe styling, that is when she realized how much her dream of being a fashion stylist was extremely important to her to achieve. Being the different overly ambitious young lady that she is, after completing High School Sydney chose to go the independent route and educate herself; along with the advice and constructive criticism from her fellow peers, about the fashion industry. “No One Can Teach You How To Do You” is a quote that she lives by to this day. The humility she portrays is beyond impeccable, Sydney realizes that the industry is forever changing so she can never know enough or learn enough.

Leaving North Carolina at the age of 19 Sydney started her journey as an aspiring wardobe stylist by relocating to Atlanta, GA where her goal was to blow the minds of those who were already familiar with the industry. Sydney attracted PR Angela Watts; President of AWMedia Group and Celebrity Stylist Robert “Middleman” Flood; owner of showroom, STUDIO 11 with her persistence and talent. With her gift to turn a blank canvas into a masterpiece she did just that. Atlanta is where she met and worked with a lot of crafted people. The more growth she experienced being on set the more obvious it became to Sydney that being apart of the fashion industry was more than just a dream it had become everything she was; her life.

While still allowing herself to grow Sydney’s ambition and drive has attracted photographers; just to name a few: Mario Cordale, Robert W. Mercer, Glenn Moodie, Zina Franklin, her design team “Style Militia” and Tim Rogers. Sydney is currently the CEO and FOUNDER of a lot of upcoming brands. Busy with her style team Style Warriors™ and her fashion brand VooDoo Chic™ launching in early August., which caters to every different person and their style that follows differentiating what Fashion is and what Style is.  VooDooChic exemplifies being the person who walks into any type of environment and stopping people in their tracks to look at you and what you are wearing almost like you have cast a spell over them that left them in a trance.

She is the perfect example of the saying “Life is But A Dream”. Rather it be on a set, personal shopping spree or just a casual consultation Sydney aims to give her clients a look that others will never forget, even if they tried. “In order to make the clothes beautiful the person must be beautiful internally, the clothes do not make you, you make the clothes.” One client a a time Sydney is showing the industry no mercy and effortlessly making it her own.

Bubbly with a welcoming smile this southern sweetheart has a heart of gold and is prepared for any and everything.  Though this is a fickle and competitive industry Sydney does not want to break into it she wants to make the industry her own.  If there is nothing that you get from Sydney know that she carries confidence, her passion for fashion and God with her everywhere she goes.  “If you are nothing else always be sure, but of all things always remain humble.” -Sydney Nicole
